why have the parents of stanningon abandoned myers grove? simple the school has failed in their education far to long. the education also closed feeder schools down and sent the children to bradfield/tapton/king edwards.
they are now using myers grove to support children from all over sheffield that been expelled from their own school.
would'nt it make more sense to close myers grove and send the pupils with all the other children from stanngton to bradfield. I am sure this would be accepatable to the parents of stannington, we could then keep wisewood open with only a refurb.

The merger appears to be a purely political decision, rather than a logical one. It has no regard for the true welfare of our children. The two school idea is by far the best long-term solution. Cheapest is not always best!

It seems wisewood school is FULL again and even is turning pupils away!! add to the fact theres now a 90% increase in traffic if the new school goes ahead! traffic problems for loxley, malin bridge, hillsboro,!! everyone make your complain to the council, and sign the on line petition

Don't close Wisewood School, because in 2011 I'm going to move into secondary school, and I dont want to walk all the way up to Myers Grove, so dont' close it so I can go to Wisewood school, and have a nice time there.

save wisewood school and myers school labour have got this very wrong again!!

Please save my school , I do not want to walk through the dangerous traffic everyday , and I would feel safer at wisewood and also I will be in my GCSE year and it will mess my levels up for my last year when the new school opens!
